Should You Have Professional Photos for Dating Apps?

Not having a high-quality photo on dating apps is like showing up to a job interview in your pajamas – it’s just not going to cut it. A great profile pic can help you stand out from the crowd and make sure you don’t get swiped left on. So, if you’re looking for love, take some time to pick your favorite photo and make sure it looks its best! You’ll be glad you did.

Dating in The Digital Age

Dating in the digital age can be a funny and sometimes confusing experience. For single men and women alike, it can feel like you are on an emotional rollercoaster ride with no end in sight. From swiping right to trying to decipher what all those emojis mean, modern-day dating has its ups and downs.

Technology Has Changed Dating

Technology has certainly changed the way people date – communication is now mostly done via text messages or social media apps. It’s hard enough trying to find someone who is your perfect match; but then you also must worry about the pressure of making sure your profile picture looks just the right amount of attractive and that you’re sending out witty texts instead of boring ones!

So, if you’re single and ready to mingle, don’t be afraid of embracing modern-day methods of meeting someone special. Don’t forget: It’s not about how you meet them but what happens next that counts!

Professional Photography for Your Dating Profile

Having a professional photographer take your dating photos is the way to go if you’re serious about snagging a date. They can help you put your best face forward and make sure that you look great in photos. Professional photos will also make sure that any shots of you are clear and high resolution and will make you stand out in a sea of selfies.

The Bathroom Selfie

Ask your female friends fellas. That pic of you in the bathroom holding your cell phone over a sink is not a good look. That is a one-way ticket to swipes-left-ville.  Is that really the best you’ve got? Is that the message you want to send? I don’t think so. Especially if you are a man.

Women are Very Selective

Women Are Much More Selective and Find 80% Of Men Unattractive on Dating Apps. Research shows that women are much more selective on these platforms than men are. So, you fellas really need to put some effort into it if you are serious about getting some high-quality dates. And you ladies should probably make sure you are on the level of the fellas you are trying to date too.

The Real You

In today’s digital age, it’s more important than ever to make sure your dating photos show off the real you. Key Emphasis on “the real you.” No one likes being deceived and that is not how you want to start a date. Yes, some photographers like me are masters of Photoshop and we can give you angel wings and a unicorn horn that looks real if we wanted to but, that’s probably going too far. Right?

Fake Photo Filters

Speaking of going too far. The right amount of retouching is vital. You want your pictures to look like you after a long vacation with lots and lots of rest and in the most flattering light possible. Too much is bad. You have all seen the pictures people post from apps on their iPhones. They think they look great but everyone else is wondering what happened to the pores in that person’s skin. If it looks fake, you will be wondering what this person is going to look like when they show up. If you have had a bad experience with this before then, you will most like swipe left when you see this.

Professional Retouching

When professional retouching is done correctly you can’t tell it has been retouched at all. When the retouching has been done in a subtle way it makes you look like the absolute best you. We minimize wrinkles and get rid of eye bags, skin blemishes and even out skin tones. We may even push it a little and make you a kid bit thinner but, not enough that it is obvious. The key is doing it in a subtle way so that when you show up for your first day, they none of that original online attraction is lost.

Putting Your Best Face Forward

So, make sure your photos speak for themselves by investing in quality pictures! It may seem like an extra expense, but hey – love is priceless! Besides, when it comes to romantic relationships, good looks certainly never hurt. So why not give yourself the edge and make sure you look your best?

Take it from us: getting good dating photos is a smart move. Research shows any profiles that didn’t have clear, high-resolution photos generated much less interest. Having an eye-catching profile picture can help ensure success in the digital dating world. It may take some extra effort, but it’ll be worth it when you find your special someone.
